First, I have to say that it was kind of cool having a classroom to myself and with the mute button I could even answer my phone if it rang and no one would be the wiser! Just kidding!

I thought that it was a great way to be able to take a course that wasn't offered at my IU campus. For most of the time, reception was clear and problems were few. It makes a big difference when you know that the lines of communication are always open.

If I found another course I wanted to take and it was available this way, I would register with no qualms.

Sending assignments by email or fax did help make the class easier. Although it was probably more difficult for you to keep track of everything coming in.
From a technical standpoint, it has worked much better than I would have expected, there really was just one day where the connection and delay were bad.

The only complaint I have is because I was in the classroom at IUN by myself so I did miss talking with others especially because the class was a class with lots of discussion.

I have to be honest I have not enjoyed the distance learning aspect of this class, the information has been great, but the format is distracting.

Sometimes it feels like I am intruding on a class I am not in, and I think that is part of the reason why I have missed so many classes.
I do not think I will participate in distance learning in the future, because I get distracted so easily, and the video and noises are distracting. I am glad I had the chance to participate in the course though.
I will try again but I have had trouble logging on to any IUN computer because I am not enrolled there.
