• See the instructor for your secret code. Please check these grades carefully. If you think I have incorrectly recorded a grade, bring the paper(s) to me and we will discuss it.
• Lab grades were assigned based on:
  
• 1) How much work you put into the project as reflected by your notebook ('Effort');
  
• 2) How difficult the project was relative to the other projects ('diff.');
  
• 3) How successful the project turned out.
  
• Obviously some of this is subjective on the part of the instructor (much like portfolio work in other courses such as writing or art).
  
• 'partic' was participation in the classroom.
• The total score of 12 quizzes were divided by 11 to get the quiz average.
