Plot Data

x= y=

X Axis Label= Y Axis Label=

Graph Title=

Instructions:

  • Enter each pair of number by clicking in the small windows below the graph (not the column to the right of the graph) and then clicking on the 'Add' button.
  • You cannot change the number once you have entered it (click on 'Clear' and start over if you made a mistake).
  • You can change the title and labels on the graph by typing in the spaces and then clicking on the appropriate 'add' button.
    • The carat symbol (^) causes text to be in superscript.
    • The underscore symbol ( _ ) causes text to be in subscript.
    • So for example, to put the chemical symbol for water in a title or label, you would type: H_{2}O to get a label that looks like H2O.
  • The 'Plot Linear Regression' button performs a linear regression analysis on the data. The slope (m) and y-intercept (b) will appear in the small table next to the button.
  • The 'Clear All' button clears everything (numbers, regression line, titles, etc.)
  • Use the print option in the browser to print the page.

Note: See Appendices A and B in your lab manual for further details on the correct way to report your data.
