It is hard to plot a function of both x and time (such as a wave) because the function changes over time. This utility allows you to see a plot of one dimentional, time dependent functions.

Type any function of x and t into the space at the bottom of the window, click 'Set' and then 'Play' to see how the function evolves over time.
