Instructions

The statistics calculator will do all the statistics listed in Appendix B of your lab manual. NOTE: Do not use this calculator for data which goes in a graph. Use Graphical Analysis or the Plotting Applet instead.

  • The calculator will work with 10 data points or less.
  •  Put in the number of data points you wish to analyze.
  • Put in the data points you wish to analyze.
  • The calculator finds the maximum allowed Q value, the Q values for
    each point, the mean, the standard deviation and the confidence limit.
  • The data points must all be positive (if you have negative points
    you may be doing something wrong!)
  • Round off your answers appropriately when you record them.
