How to print the screen from your TI- calculator:
NOTE: Graphical Analysis can only import lists. You must first
save your graph or function plot as two lists (the x values in one and
the y values in the other list) on the calculator before you can load
them into Graphical Analysis.
-
Borrow a Graph-Link cable from Dr. Forinash or Dr. Couzin.
- Plug the cable into your calculator and the other end into the COM1 port on the back of the computer.
-
Log onto your IUS account and start up Graphical Analysis (in the Student APPS folder under 'shortcuts').
- Chose 'Import data from a TI Calculator' in the 'File' menu.
- The software will ask the port where the cable is connected
(COM1). When you click 'scan for data' it will show what lists are
available on your calculator.
-
The list you select on the calculator should appear as a variable list in Graphical Analysis.
If you have problems, see Dr. Forinash in PS101 across the hall.
